One down, hundreds more to go...
Join me for the second installment of the SF Chinatown Chowdown Lunch Series! Each week we'll try a new restaurant, focusing primarily but not exclusively on Chinese cuisines.
Last week we beat the heat by eating a light and refreshing raw fish salad at Bow Hon. We're going with the opposite approach for what is sure to be another hot Friday: we're going to sweat it out over several spicy hot dishes at a moderately priced Chinese restaurant. Estimated cost is about $15 per person.
Participants must *arrive* at the restaurant no later than 12:00 noon on Friday, March 19th. For walking time approximation, assume the corner of Grant and Jackson.
All types of hounds are welcome: veteran chowdowners or newcomers; experts in Chinese cuisines or those just starting to discover them. Space is limited so please RVSP quickly to firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your spot! To those of you know sent me a message last week expressing a desire to come this week: please email me again if you are still interested.
