I would ask the same question.I'm always disappointed as MY standard is the Cold Noodles at Brandy Ho's in San Francisco.Very fiery!Have not found anything to compare in Boston nor NYC.
So I look forward to what presents itself here,but at Shrangri-la in Belmont their sauce that goes on their cold "bean noodles(??)"was as close as I've found to my ideal.Their sauce wasn't as hot,but they put wasabi on the side, so mix it in!
