Service at Santorini

I've eaten at Santorini in Sleepy Hollow 4 times since following a members recommendation here on the boards. Now that the NY Times and local papers have given their favorable reviews, the popularity has grown and the place is packed. My husband and I have always enjoyed the food; fresh, well prepared and reasonably priced. After last nights meal there with friends however, we walked away with less than highly satisfied experience that we have come to expect. Both the service left much to be desired. An entree was not delivered to our table after 3 of our party of 4 were served, so when the grilled fish I ordered arrived broiled, I willingly kept it. We also had to, after 20 minutes after finishing, ask for plates to be removed from the table. I could have used a cup of coffee after waiting so long, but alas, our server (1 of 2 for the whole back room) did not inquire if we wanted dessert so we merely asked for our check. Let's hope Santorini's growing pains are promptly remedied by additional and experienced wait staff so the jewel it has become can continue to shine.
