Serendipity after the theater?

Nina | Feb 19, 2005 04:01 PM

I know there's been a recent thread on Serendipity..and one on dessert after the theater, but my question combines the two. We will be seeing The Lion King on Tuesday night, May 31st. I believe the running time is 2 hrs. 45 minutes, so will end around 10:45. How long will it take to get from the New Amsterdam Theater to Serendipity? Even if we walk, it won't take more than 15 minutes/half hour, will it? So we'll be there at 11:15 at the latest. At that late hour on a Tuesday night will there be a line? My kids soooo want to try the frozen hot chocolate (OK, I really want to, too!) and it seems like such a fun thing to do late at night. If anyone has an idea of what we might encounter as far as wait times go, that would be so helpful.
