"Separate into a suspension..." Wait, What?

acgold7 | Nov 10, 201702:31 PM

So there's this commercial on TV for a telecom company, where they talk about the two companies involved fitting together like "oil and balsamic." And then this wonky scientist type pipes up with "Actually, they separate into a suspension."

Huh? If they are separated, how can they be in suspension, or "a suspension"? I thought the suspension occurred only when two dissimilar liquids (or a liquid and a solid) were mixed. When they separate, that's UNsuspension. Right?
