Years and years ago, we ate at Seoul Garden. All I can recall is that it was more expensive and not as good as what we were accustomed to and had a slight how-to-put-it? well, foreign businessman meets B-girl feel to it.
Tonight, after checking out the menu at Takara--which we have yet to try--we found ourselves looking at SG's menu and thinking it seemed more like the places we frequent in LA than the standard SF fare. Lots of interesting dishes.
Did a quick Google and saw disappointed comments from 'hounds.
Has anyone dined well here? Or is is, as the old saying goes, "more sizzle than steak"?
