Yesterday I took a break from traffic on Mission in Fremont, pulling into the shopping center with CVS to take a breather. I noticed what looked like a new spot called Seoul 2Go, Korean Chi^Mc Bistro. The window signage explains that ChiMc refers to chicken and beer. And googling lead me to the term "chimek", a combination of "chicken" and "mekju", the Korean word for beer.
I tried to order Korean style fried chicken plus bibimbap for dish of the month.
But alas, bibimbap is only available on the lunch menu. By now it was 5pm and, even though I was the only customer in the place, I was informed that bibimbap would not be available again until Monday at 11am.
So, I'll leave it to a 'hound in the area to check it out. The place has been open for six weeks.
