We had dinner at Sensi this weekend and by chance passed Martin the chef on our way in. We ordered the three course prix fixe and later he came by and chatted for quite a while about his possible new plans and new restaurants that had just opened he had liked. The starter was fresh shrimp lightly fried, then I had the Halibut choice and my husband had the flank steak. Both of us loved our entrees and then he sent out the thai inspired coconut soup with lobster and it was amazing. I would suggest this is a must order if you go to sensi, it was outstanding. We had to rush off to meet up with friends and enjoyed our dessert and the sorbets he sent out as well. I will be adding Sensi to my list next time i'm in vegas and though our server was a little less than attentive until after the chef chatted with us, I can overlook that as every table was packed and showed no signs of slowing down with two conventions in town. This is a restaurant with a clearly hands on chef and incredibly fresh ingredients simply and elegantly prepared. The sauces for the bread were savory but be careful not to fill up on the nan, it is easy to do!
