We just had lunch today at Tango Grill in White Plains and thought the food was so sensational it deserved to be mentioned here for other chowheads on this website.
Every dish we had was spectacular. I would highly recommend the grilled sweetbreads, empanadas, grilled octopus and the crabcakes -- for starters.
I had a wonderful the ceviche (antipasto) as my entre and it was superb. Perfectly spicy with avocado, sweet Holland peppers and cilantro and chunks of garlic -- i reminded me of Hawaiian-style ahi poke.
An interesting twist about this place is that while it has few similiarites to places like Inca/Gaucho in Portchester, it is obviously geared toward the high-end. They use fresh, high quality ingredients, but well worth the price. They also have an Italian fusion flare to their menu, however we did not try the pasta as we were in the mood for South American cuisine. I'd be curious to know how their pasta dishes fare, for anyone who may have tried them.
My girlfriend had the Classic Argentinian Entrana (grilled skirt steak) I had a bite of it. It was out of this world. These guys make a mean chimichurri.
Great service. Great Food. Definitely going back there again. Has anyone else tried this place. Its grrrrrrrreat!
