I've recently paid a visit to Sen Vang, a brand new Vietnamese spot on Victoria, right in front of Cote Sainte Catherine Metro. This is a small family-run operation specializing in soups. They've got the more common Pho (from Northern Vietnam), the less Bun Bo Hue (spicy with marinated beef) which is served in some MTL restaurants on weekends, and the even less common Mi (with egg noodles, shrimp and sha siu pork) which can be ordered with the broth on the side.
I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, which is not on the menu but available at all times. I can report that it was absolutely perfect. It definitely beat the others I have tasted in MTL, most notably that of Pho Lien and Pho Bang.
