Sellers Market - Day 2

Frosty Melon | Apr 20, 200504:59 PM

Well today after I finally found Sellers Market (they do need a Front Street address) I was excited to give it a try. I ordered the BBQ pulled rotisserie chicken sandwich. It's decent, nothing out of this world. The ingredients do seem fresh, down to the nice crunchy roll and the bright red tomatoes. Came with four little cornichons on the side.

If I worked in the immediate area (i.e., within a 1/2 block radius), I would probably be a semi-regular. As it's just a bit out of the way in my usual lunch outing, it won't be a destination for me. When I do eat here, I will certainly take it to go. The place is very cramped, bustling and loud. There are a few small two-top tables, but the space is dominated by two large communal tables. Oddly, one has padded stools all around it; the other had none, so people were standing up grazing.

The service seemed slightly amateurish, from the counter service to the food preparation. Couldn't tell who was in charge. That said, everyone was pleasant and orders came out in a timely manner.
