This coming weekend my girlfriend and I are going to Sel de la Terre Back Bay. We are trying to decide what menu-route to go. Because it is restaurant week, we could go relatively cheap and just order off of that menu, but this probably wouldn't be our best option because we have a $120 gift certificate. We were also considering ordering off of the regular menu.
My real question, though, is whether anyone here has tried or spoken to someone who has tried the chef's tasting there. I would like to give them a shot to impress me, but I wouldn't bother if it's not typically very good.
