Sei Bar in Everett

I went to Sei Bar with my fiancee last Sunday for an anniversary dinner. We were going to go to All Seasons table in Malden but we decided to go to Sei Bar since the T is not so reliable on Sundays and Sei Bar is closer.

We ordered the Thai lettuce wraps, the B-25 maki, and the thai rolls for appetizers. The thai wraps were almost inedibly salty but the flaovr was fine. I would have inhaled them if they were not so salty. The b-25 maki was ordered because my fiancee has an aversion to raw fish but for some reason wanted sushi...lol. It was very good for what it was. The thai rolls were so so.

For entrees we ordered the seafood tempura and the sesame chicken. Both of the portions were huge beyond belief. The tempura was delicious. There were a few shrimp, some scallops, squid, crabmeat, broccoli, onion, and something that was either butternut squash or sweet potato. The sesame chicken was at least 10 huge chunks of chicken with an assortment of veggies in a very nice sauce that was not too sweet or too sour. Very well balanced. Both entrees were served with miso soup and a house salad. Everything was delicious.

The service was great. The ambience was very cozy and warm. When they brought the check it came with some complimentary fresh pineapple which I thought was a nice touch.
The total including the tax and tip was $62 and well worth it.
