Seeking recs for Buffalo & Niagra Falls

Vince DelGobbo | Sep 12, 200209:14 PM     5

My family and I will be spending a few days at the Adams Mark Hotel (Church Street in Buffalo) at the end of this month.

Can somebody recommend breakfast and dinner places close to the Adams Mark? We will have a car, but are also looking for places close by.

For breakfast, we are not looking for anything fancy -- quick and cheap will do. For dinner, a family-friendly place would be nice. We can pass on Buffalo Wings but would like to try Beef on 'Weck.

We like Chinese, Indian, Italian and Mexican, and we are especially interested in having some good pizza. The type of crust we are looking for is not too thin, not too thick, and not chewy. What we have in mind is something bready, with a lot of small air holes in the slightly crunchy crust.

We will also spend 1 day on the Canadian side of the falls (Clifton Hill area), so any other recommendations are appreciated.

Finally, are there any forums devoted to this area of New York?

Thanks,

Vince
