Seeking Something Offbeat in or Near Chinatown

A cousin who is visiting New York this weekend has suggested dinner on Sunday, preferably somewhere with exotic food, perhaps in Chinatown. On previous visits we've gone, among other places, to Sweet-n-Tart and a Malaysian restaurant and have tried some of their more unusual offerings. A couple of places I'm considering, based on reviews that I clipped a few years ago, are 118 Lucky and East Broadway Gourmet, but I don't know how good they are now, or even if they still exist. Decor does not matter very much, but clean would be good and servers who speak at least a bit of English would be a plus. I'd also like to be able to sit and talk for a couple of hours without being pressured to leave. Any thoughts?
