I'm looking for good Mongolian beef, hot and sour soup, and combination wor won ton in San Francisco. The combination wor won ton at the Hong Kong on Church was something my family ordered every time we went--which was about once a week at one point. Large, meaty wontons, bok choy, bamboo shoots, shredded chicken, and a couple of slices of barbequed pork. They're the Red Jade now and I'm not digging on it as much.
I've had Mongolian beef a couple of times but keep being disappointed: tough meat, not spicy, and/or undercooked onions. I don't care if this is a genuine item in Chinese cooking or not, it's good! And isn't that why we're all here? I'd like a nice hot and sour soup, too. If anyone knows a fabulous place that has good versions of all of these, please share! The Mongolian beef is what I'm most concerned with, though. Thanks!
