Hi folks. I was in here last week asking for brewpub recommendations for my trip to Seattle next week. I'm going to check out Elysian for sure. Sounds great!
Next up: On Wednesday night a friend and I will be looking for a good fish/seafood experience. By that I mean top quality and fresh fish/seafood, at a decent price (so what else is new?).
There are constraints. It needs to be central -- not necessarily core downtown, but easy to get to from downtown (10 minute cab ride max).
Also, it can't be too pricey. We'll be spending those wee little Canadian dollars, so the kind of place where a starter salad is $14 is totally out of the question. We're looking at spending about $30 each before wine, tax, and tip. I only mention this because in my research I find a lot of really nice and swishy-looking places but then I check the menus and the prices are outrageous. Like the Waterfront Pier 70 place -- $7 for a side of mashed potatoes? Yowser!
Anyway, please advise if there are any "must eat" places that fit my constraints. Thanks!
