Here's the thing: I would have been upset if I had spent $40.00 on that meal. I spent close to $400.

I have no issue with spending money on good food, but the quality of that food was so poor that it is scary. The service was excellent, however.

Anyway, back to the food: Chef Seeger is trying too hard. He is combining all kinds of weird ingredients in a pathetic attempt to seem "skilled." Uh, not working. I had tangerine soup with GOAT CHEESE sorbet. Why not lemon sorbet? Too pedestrian?

I had to send back my Kobe beef which looked like a very sad cut of meet and tasted worse than plain ol' roast beef. The salmon they brought out instead was not bad, but nothing spectacular.

Anyway, we will never again eat there. We had heard some bad word of mouth reviews of Seegers but figured we'd just have to see for ourselves. Big mistake. Hopefully, I'll save you the $400 we didn't save.
