I'm looking for that place... you know the one. It's the place you go when you want a delicious, comforting meal. The food is good, the atmosphere is good, the staff is friendly, it isn't a big production or hassle, and it doesn't break the bank.
On a cold winter's night, you just want to go somewhere and have a satisfying meal and a a couple of glasses of wine with friends. This place is your default "go to" -- a no-brainer choice which has served you well for years.
What's your secret Italian trattoria? Years ago, I used to like going to a place in Newton Center which served pasta family style and made a killer bolognese sauce. It was located right across from the T, but I imagine that place is gone now. (I live on the wrong coast now, but will be back in Boston next week!).
Thanks for sharing your special place!
