Seattle: Salumi in Pioneer Square

After all the good words about Salumi that folks have expressed on this list, I decided to give it a try, particularly as I work downtown and access is easy.

I had a fennel sausage sandwich, rich with the taste of fresh fennel and a nice garlicky aftertaste. This savory sausage sandwich was served on a fresh French bread sliced down the middle, chewy/crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I took mine a couple of blocks away to a waterfall park that's a real oasis. Sheltered from the street is a two-story tall waterfall over rocks with trees and benches/tables to sit at. What a nice place to eat that heavenly sandwich on such a pretty day!

I look forward to returning to Salumi for other delicacies. Does anyone have any recommendations besides the fennel sausage?
