First in Seattle Where to Get Great Food

rocky559 | Oct 28, 201110:20 PM     12

Have to say I absolutely love this site. We travel often and I will always check here before going anywhere.

So the question is, my husband and our 16 y/o daughter are visiting November 9 - 13 for the first time. We are spending 3 nights in Seattle and 1 night in Victoria BC. We like places that aren't too noisy but interesting decor and exceptional food. Any recommendations for places we should not miss that aren't outrageously expensive -- well, maybe one dinner.

Here are some of the ideas of places that looked like something we'd like:

For pizza Via Tribunali
Quinn's
Skillet -- purely for the bacon jam
Palace Kitchen
Tamarind Tree
Spur
Salumi
Spinasse
Bakery nouveau -- for pastries
Victrola Cafe for coffee/espresso
Portage Bay Cafe
Sitka & Spruce

We really appreciate opinions on what not to miss and what to skip.
