I heard something very disturbing, very disturbing indeed. It seems Sears coffee shop in San Fransisco on Union Square is now closed. This was the place across from Sir Francis Drake Hotel.
I can't believe it. Every time I visited from LA there was a line out front. Was it that dead during the week? Rent too high? Owners had enough?
Can't be because people don't like the food. It's a great experience and their food is excellent especially the homemade corn beef hash. Love the hash.
It is true? Why? Also posted on SF board (thought it would serve as a warning to those of you from LA who look forward to a Sears breakfast).
