searing tuna a day in advance?

I'm considering preparing salad nicoise for a large party (100) but would need to prepare the individual cooked components a day in advance. I'm wondering about any food safety issues for cooking tuna and leaving it rare for 24 hours in the refrigerator. Anyone?
