I just got back from LA and had dinner at numerous Persian restaurants. These restaurants were serving this type of flat bread called "sangak". It was delicious with my meal. The bread is whole-wheat (I think?) with a sourdough taste and sesame seeds on top. I've been online trying to find this bread and can't seem to find it. I even visited several international markets (Barbur Foods and Hala Market) with no success. Can anyone tell me where to find this bread or if there are any bakeries in the Portland area making this bread? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
