Searching for elegant dining in Mid-Coast Maine

As an obsessed food lover who just "discovered" this website a few days ago, I was very impressed by the knowledge and enthusiasm displayed on this message board. I am therefore making my first post to ask for advice about elegant dining in Mid-Coast Maine. I have already spent quite a bit of time going through previous message board posts (as well as other Maine travel websites) related to dining in this region and have come up with many potential options - but the number of establishments is a bit overwhelming, and I thus need to "whittle them down" and also figure out which are still open. Whether they are closed for the season or not, I would be most appreciative for any commentary specifically geared towards the potential upscale/elegant/romantic atmosphere of any of the following restaurants (and, of course, I also need to know about their food and whether they are truly worth the expense!): Bar Harbor - George's, Rose Garden; Blue Hill - Arborvine, Blue Hill Inn, Jonathan's; Camden - Cork Restaurant, Hartstone Inn, Marquis at the Belmont, Whitehall Inn; Castine - Castine Inn; Lincolnville - Youngtown Inn; Rockland - Primo; and Marcel's at the Samoset Resort. Please forgive me if this is a rather long list; and if I have missed any potentially great restaurants, please do not hesitate to elaborate about those as well. Many thanks in advance for your kind assistance!
