Hi all. After spending the last semester in Hong Kong, I've come to love the traditional breakfast of soybean milk (dou jiang/jeong -depending on the dialect spoken) or congee with a fried cruller. Is there any place in Chinatown that serves this? I just want any place where I can sit down for this simple but satisfying meal.
After eating my way through HK and China, I can definitely say that I plan to visit NYC's Chinatown(s) more often and can't wait to discover where I find and eat my new favorite foods from here abroad.
Please note that I am also posting this on the outside boroughs board, as well as the tri-state region since I live in the Bronx, but am willing to trek out for this.
