Last week I found myself travelling to Mumbai for
a funeral. Being a quick and short visit, I was unable to really do anything chowhoundish. However, a good friend of my cousin took us to a small restaurant that specializes in seafood.
Trishna, Kalaghoda; very close to the Stock-Exchange. It cooks up Crabs,Prawns,Pomfret and Rawas many different ways.
We left it to her to order whatever was specially good. We ordered their Malabari and Konkan style preparations for Crabs and Rawas. Also very spicy pomfret cooked using garlic. While ricewas recommended with the pomfret, I used pau's (buns) instead.
All the catch is fresh and comes from Alibaug.
