Seafood to impress a Louisiana native

Chad Cagnolatti | Aug 15, 200208:24 PM

First off, thanks for this board. After spending 32 years making restauranting a habit in the New Orleans area, this board will sure make finding Seattle's gems easier and more fun. Now that I have been in Seattle for over a year, here is my dilemma. I was turned on to Flying Fish by a friend who lived in Belltown for quite some time and having been there for six or so meals, I'm quite pleased with the fish menu there as well as the atmosphere, service and cost. I was wondering if it is worth breaking my routine to try Waterfront or Oceanaire? I have relatives in town from the south and it's not easy finding seafood to impress tourists who are used to Commander's palace and Gallitoire's. Anything worth a switch from the Flying Fish?
