after the luscious dinner I had at Pomaire last week I thought a recommendation was in order - since I came up with Chilean empanadas as the topic when I searched on it, and that's not really the point. Chileans eat seafood like Argentinians eat beef, so if you want some seafood stews that aren't the same thing you get at a Blue Water Grill type of place, Pomaire rocks. They only had 1 entree with the ubiquitous Chilean sea bass, and the fact that they fessed up to putting lard in one of the dishes made me give them at least a point for authenticity. Also, the wine we had was exceptional, and we picked one of the cheaper ones.
