We will be in Italy for two weeks in August. Most of our trip will be in Tuscany/Montova area. We are flying in to Milan. As a kid, I spent a summer along the Mediterranean coast. I have wonderful memories of fabulous seaside dining in small, local trattorias. I know things have changed, but I was looking for some input on where a foodie should stay for a couple of nights. We would like to avoid tourist traps and want a small town experience.
