Seabreeze Island Grill - Redington Shores

We finally got a chance to eat here after many great local reviews - what a great addition to the beaches! Great location on the ICW (with two slips at their dock, more coming I'm told) nice bar area that's probably a bit noisy in prime hours due to the tile floors, and big outdoor patio space with 12 or so tables and big curved bar seating area. Food highlights: Blue Point oysters - sweet & succulent, served with a good mignonette, but lacked heat; Gulf oysters - plump, fresh and briny. Warm stuff was stone crab bisque, totally awesome with enough sweet corn to offset the richness of the cream, and coconut shrimp - great sweet flavor that lacked in texture due to overcooking. Anytime a place even whispers 'lobster roll' - we're in, and wow this could have come straight from Boothbay. Called knuckle sandwich, it wasn't - just pure Maine claw meat lightly dressed in mayo with a hit of tarragon and served with Boston lettuce in a new England split top dog bun. Truly traditional! There's a full dining room surrounding the patio that we didn't explore because it was so nice outside, but probably will be great in the dog days of summer. Tall folks beware of the restroom entrance, probably needs a 'bang head here' sign! Enjoy
