As I found out after sitting in Friday afternoon traffic today, Sea to You is now only open for retail on Saturdays, 9-3...Ouch. Don't learn the hard way...
The good news is, I found a new retail fish market on Dorchester Ave, between B and D streets (but closer to D)...World Seafood processing, a big fish wholesaler, has a retail operation out front now..I grabbed a slab of sushi-grade tuna for $8.95 and a pound of swordfish [I've been having these dreams of slabs of raw fish lately; how often do we get the food of our dreams? :)]
I also got a big, frozen octopus for $3 a lb...They had some whole fish(red snapper, smelts) as well as all the usual cut stuff, and shell fish.. They also have a take-out cooked fish place attached, with a few stools; grilled, broiled, steamed, fried..How much fresher could you get?...Greek-style, I would guess, after chatting with one of the brothers, Dimitrios Exarchos...It's a family business; 3 Exarchos brothers and their father, who was chowing on a fish dinner as I walked in...
