SEA- seeking Mexican advice

Elliot | Jun 24, 2004 09:10 PM

I've recently relocated to Seattle after living in San Francisco and Texas for the last 8 years. What I am missing most is Mexican food- especially good, honest, tacos al pastor. You know, the kind that come in two small corn tortillas with a pinch of cilantro (but never beans, not to mention lettuce and some of the other things people put into tacos). I've had Malena's tacos in Queen Anne (no pastor but the carnitas was good) and I've been making my own. I've heard that there are some good places in South Park (Muy Macho) and that on the higher end, Oaxaca does a good job. I've also seen quite a few taco trucks in passing- does anyone have any favorites?
