I'm wanting to make a Fava Bean puree crostini as an appetizer tomorrow but my old stand-by, Larry's in Bellevue doesn't have any in stock. The produce guy says that they're out of season and that the weather in California is weird this year. But, Hsiao-Ching Chou of the PI says this week that they're in abundance at the farmer's markets.

Anyone been to any of the market's this week and seen Favas? I'm thinking the only Saturday market besides Pike Place is the U District and I'm trying now to decided whether to make the run tomorrow or come up with a new app.
