I love scrambled eggs but in general never order them out because I what I wind up getting is either a) a flat, pancake kind of thing or b) a rubbery, lumpy pile. I threw caution to the wind at Poeme (almost excruciatingly pleasant French-Tunisian at the corner of Elizabeth & Prince Sts.) this weekend, though, and my recklessness was richly rewarded. I ordered the scrambled eggs with salmon and they were PERFECT - soft and creamy, obviously cooked slowly over very low heat. The best scramble I've had in NYC, hands down.
