Scrambled Egg stuffed Burger

Ok, I know that traditionally, you fry an egg and simply "crown" a burger with it, but I am trying to think outside the box! I am thinking about making a hamburger stuffed with scrambled eggs and pesto with haverti or mozzerella cheese, or just scrambled eggs and pesto. If I scrambled the eggs, sealed in the middle of the burger and either fried, broiled or grilled, would my eggs get really rubbery or would the fat from the meat keep them moist? Does this sound just plain disguisting? I was also thinking about mixing spinach or mashed peas in the ground beef mixture. Would spinach or pea flavors clash with the pesto? Or maybe I should just stuff the burger with wilted garlic spinach or mashed peas and scrambled egg... another thought: would mashed peas work in the meat itself?? (intruiging...) i guess my main question is do you think the eggs would survive the double cooking process?? And before you say eat it medium rare or rare, I have to cook it through because children are gunna eat this and I dont want to possibly poison one of them...
