did a bicycle loop around pv on sunday, and because of a street fair found myself on the bike path. Came across this place and it looked inviting, lots of commotion and great location, right across from the women’s volleyball courts. Ordered a turkey club with crispy fries and a Chinese chick salad. Sandwich was filled with fresh roasted turkey, great bacon, tons of terrific fries – salad was a nice assortment of different lettuces, moist bbqed chicken, almond slivers, noodles, toasted sesame seeds, mandarin oranges and a nice tangy dressing. I cannot remember when I have enjoyed a casual lunch more, the food was great. The room is open somewhat open air, there is mesh that cuts the sun in-between the ceiling joists, but the other side of the joint is fully enclosed. Prices for lunch look like they average $ 7 or so, much better deal and food quality than the sidewalk café in Venice. Coffee was also good & amazing garlic bread – easy to keep an eye on the bikes & top-shelf people watching. I noticed the weekday specials on the table flyer look incredible, monday night all you can eat spaghetti/meat sauce for $ 3.99!, etc.
