Scottsdale and Sedona visit

Southwest Scottsdale Trip Planning Sedona

My friends and I will be visiting Scottsdale for couple days then head to Sedona for couple days. We're looking forward to do some hiking in Sedona and relaxation at the same time. We're foodie and would love to try the locals/mama and papa restaurants. Any recommendations for things to do, place to eat for both cities is greatly appreciated.

We just returned from Sedona (terrific place!) and ate at Saltrock Cafe and Elote. Absolutely loved Elote (they don't take reservations and are very popular, so be prepared to wait). Loved everything we had. At Saltrock we loved our appetizers (grilled corn--fantastic, and corn soup); for a second course (we weren't that hungry) we ordered from the tortilla section. My husband liked his duck tacos; I ordered the lamb tostada and really didn't like it at all; the lamb was tough and fatty.
