Scorpions for Breakfast and Snails for Dinner-NYT

This article is very cool. Being Chinese scion of parents who lived through WWII, I know that nothing ever gets wasted. Everything gets eaten. My dad wasn't quite like the author's father in law but I managed to acquire a pretty adventurous palate. Strangely enough two things I would not eat as a child were cheese and mushrooms, now some of my favorite foods.

I know this won't stop the "hide the food" movement from advancing their agenda, but I hope it puts to rest the theory that kids just won't be adventurous eaters.
