School lunch worker quits after being forced to refuse hot meal to poor student

Should school lunches be free? I have no idea. Lunch was part of tuition where I went to school.

In this HuffPo article, it says cheese sandwich alternative applies only to kids in grades 1- 6. Kids in 7 - 12 get nothing. "Instead, kindergarten through sixth-grade students will receive a cheese sandwich, as state law mandates elementary students are served lunch in school. Students in grades seven through 12 will be given nothing at all."
