Restaurants & Bars 3

So we went to Schiller's last night, and basically, it's all about the scene, and the food is sort of an afterthought. I mean, the scene is amazing - it's crowded and dim and roaringly loud, and everyone's packed in elbow-to-elbow at these tiny tables, and we had a 45-minute wait at 9:30 on a Tuesday - but the food is okay, and no better. My advice - swing by to check out the scene (I can't even imagine what it's like on a Saturday), then have dinner someplace else. I mean, if it weren't so out-of-the-way (or if there weren't so many other good restaurants right around the corner), I'd probably think better of it, but it is (and there are). Also, it's not exactly a good place for a leisurely dinner - you kind of get the sense that they need your table NOW, and the sooner you're out the door, the better. Anyway, that's my opinion.
