I finally stopped in here after driving by it for 3 years and was pleasantly surprised. Owner John Schiappa greeted me and made my family feel right at home. He took great care to explain to my college age daughter, the nuances of different sauces on pasta and how a sauce should complement and not overwhelm the pasta. Our server (Sharina)(sp?)was extremely attentive and our glasses rarely got below 1/3 full. My daughter opted for the cheese stuffed shells w/ marinara sauce. The plate was tastefully decorated and she found it quite pleasing. The portion was quite ample for a hungry teen. The remainder of us opted for the buffet which included a nice salad selection, 3 kinds of fresh hand tossed pizza (breads and crusts made on site),chicken legs in a tomato sauce with potatoes and garlic, light flavored fish filets in a butter sauce, BBQ chops, eggplant parmesan, excellent chicken wings, garlic roasted potatoes, a cheesy vegetable mix, bowtie pasta w/a homemade alfredo sauce, chili, and minestrone soup (homemade and excellent.) The food was all hot and fresh. The owner was quite entertaining and stopped by our table a couple of times to check and make sure that we were pleased with the food. I certainly recommend this spot for a reasonable dining experience that is very kid friendly. Out tab was just over $40 for 4 of us including drinks. I will be back. They have a daily lunch buffet and have room for banquets. They are currently closed on Sunday and Monday although the website says different. Liquor is available.
