Have some guests coming to town and thought a nice afternoon tea would be a good idea. In town I've only done the Mayflower Hotel tea. Can't remember how I felt about the food and was with a huge group, overall I thought it was a fairly nice experience (but it was a long time ago). I also did a wonderful tea as part of our stay at Inn at Little Washington- I think it was somewhat scaled back from the usual full multi-course thing- but still very nice. Want to do "traditional british-type" tea (not modern or asian). Any little country inns in cute nearby towns (antiquing nearby is a plus!) recommended, or anything I shouldn't overlook in town?
