OK my friends, I've been reading a lot on here that people don't believe in using Non-stick for searing, to stick with carbon steel or cast iron (I own both). Why is this? From what I observed from Master chef, to Ramsey's Youtube channel, to a bunch of other cooking shows, everyone is searing there meat in a scanpan. It even says that its good to sear in the description. So what's with the hate against using Scanpan nonstick skillet to sear?
