I ate here on friday night. In the past I remember it being quite good. I was very disappointed this time around. Maybe I didn't order the right things. The pre meal appetizers are great- fried zucchini, olives, parm, prosciutto, seafood salad. That, unfortunately, is where the thrill ended for me. The salad caprese was a big disappointment. The tomato slices were double the size of the fresh mozz (which wasn't even that good). It was served with roasted peppers marinated in vinegar. Roasted peppers are a fine idea to be served along with this salad, but vinegar marinade made them taste cheap. The batter fried zucchini blossoms were quite large, but the batter was not thoroughly cooked- the inside was a bit soggy. I tasted most of the entrees- mine was a veal special )medallions in a red sauce with peppers, onions, and mushrooms). The veal was tasteless and the sauce was average at best. The branzino was over-cooked and almost chewy. The fresh pappardelle the one decent dish -it was served with a truffle oil. When you are spending over $100 a head for dinner, this kind of meal is unnacceptable. I won't be going back. It is interesting to note however, that the place was absolutely packed. Has anyone had a good experience here?
