My husband and I dined at Savoy last night. It was our first visit. What a wonderful experience! It's a new favorite.
We started with the squid and the market greens salad. Both delicious. The dressing on the greens was perfect.
I had the whole trout (fantastic) and my husband had the salt crusted duck (also terrific).
We ended with the warm apple/almond cake.
With a few drinks the whole meal was about $130. We've paid so much more at "in" places (e.g. WD-50) and been terribly disappointed.
Savoy was such a treat.
