As a former Georgian with more trips to your city than I can count, I'm pretty aware of both high-brow dining and low-brow eating (my preference, if good) in and around your city.
But an acquaintance of mine recently sprang a couple of new ones on me and I'd like some feedback.
She had been doing some work with or for the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and mentioned Bobbie's Diner on Habersham, the Streamliner Diner on W. Henry as well as the Gryphon. She and I have gone to the Gryphon (separately) and she was much more impressed with it than I (last time I was there was probably 2-3 years ago, so an update would be appreciated though). However, I was not aware of Bobbie's or the Streamliner and she had gone to neither, so that trail ended there.
I checked SCAD's website and, though both places are mentioned in the Student Life section, there is no indication as to whether they're open to the public or not. If so, any good? If worthwhile, any other information about them?
