I recently bought two Zwilling Prime pans after suggestions from this forum. I'm very happy with them and at the time was also thinking about a sauté pan. After having used my new 3.8L pan for making a ragu and experiencing how well it worked for searing the meat, I've been wanting a sauté pan. I got a non-stick frying pan and a carbon steel frying pan which does the frying work today. I prefer not using teflon all the time and have never gotten the carbon steel pan to work the way I want to. I've also wanted a pan where I can fry something, add something wet and make a sauce. I don't have lids for the frying pans either.
The Zwilling Prime series doesn't appear to have a sauté pan as far as I can see, and I'm looking for advice on which to choose. Zwilling does have sauté pans, so maybe one of those can work. I don't mind having different brands as long as I get good equipment, but it doesn't hurt of course.
I've done some testing on my hob and the coils appear to be around 17cm in diameter, if it matters. My hob is 60cm wide, which does put some limitations on how many larger pieces I can use at the same time. This makes me not want one of the largest pans.
