Sauerkraut temps

I have some cabbage all ready to ferment, but the only place in the house that stays between 65 and 75 degrees is the bed room, and that would be pushing things to far with my sweetie. Would everything go okay just slower at temps in the 60 degree range (basement temperature)? If not any tips on creating a "micro climate"? TIA
