Is the sauce safe to eat ??

In cooking a spaghetti dinner for a large crowd, instead of using a scoop for the sauce (too small and to save time) I used a Revere Ware, copper bottom, pan. Being in a hurry, I forgot to remove the pan from the pot of sauce and left it in there for almost 2 hours.
Question is...is the sauce still good to eat ?
If not, one good thing came from it...the bottom of my pan looks great...LOL
